The idea behind Frame Found.
Frame Found really came out of a pretty simple idea.
I’ve always had a tendency to look for similarities between things that, on the surface, don’t really have much to do with each other. Work. Creativity. Jiu-jitsu. Movies. Technology. Life in general.
Usually there’s some kind of pattern underneath it.
The Frame part of Frame Found is short for framework. I’ve always been interested in structure — how people organize things, how we make decisions, how we work, and the different ways we make sense of what’s going on around us.
The Found part is partly about discovery, but it’s also a small nod to FFFFOUND!, an old image-sharing site that was basically just a constantly changing collection of interesting things people had come across.
I always liked that idea.
So Frame Found is kind of an amalgamation of both.
It’s a place for thoughts, observations, frameworks, things I’ve noticed, things I’m still trying to figure out, and connections between stuff that probably wouldn’t normally get put next to each other.
Some of it is about work. Some of it isn’t.
Mostly, I’m just following whatever seems interesting and seeing where it goes.
Hopefully something in here gives you a different way of looking at something too.
There’s a practical side to this, too.
A lot of what I talk about here comes from years of actually trying to make work work better.
Work management. Program management. Creative operations. AI. Operating models. The systems underneath how teams get things done.
Frame Found also works with organizations trying to figure some of that out.
Sometimes that means looking at how work moves through a team. Sometimes it’s helping make sense of the tools, processes, roles, or structure around it. Sometimes it’s just having somebody from outside the system ask why the hell something works the way it does.
I’m keeping that intentionally broad for now.
